Letter from the Owner...

April 13, 2007
A lifelong interest in motorcycles started back in the 60's when I bought a friends motorized bicycle. It was a homemade design that carried a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower motor in the 'V' of a bicycle frame. I finally got it to sort of run and from that point on motorcycles became an addiction My dads friend, Joe, got me a job in the local Honda shop setting up bikes and working the parts counter. Joe was an interesting guy that actually lived in a back room at the shop. A few years and a bunch of bikes later I was working in a Harley and Honda shop. Went from being a parts guy to running the place while raising a family and aquiring a tiny bit of grey hair. My younger brother has a lot more. Oh yeah, also aquired a bunch of tatoos along the way.

Now at Scoots4u, I not only run the place but I own the place. When you stop into Scoots4u you will be dealing with people that enjoy motorcycles and scooters as well as other unsusal and distinct modes of transportation. Did I mention sometimes weird? Be it new, used, or abused, one of our brands or somebody elses, if it moves human beings, we like it. If it's fast, we like it even better!

Scoots4u is not your typical shop. We don't have a waiting room, a closing office, a slick line of genuine clothing, a sales person pushing you into buying today, or an F&I guy. When you visit, you'll normally talk to the owner. If it's warm, you'll recognize me as the old guy wearing shorts, glasses and an arm full ink. I won't remember your name or call you at home to follow up. I won't push to close the deal. You'll probably have to tell me if you want to make a purchase. I like to sell the way I like to be sold.

We service what we sell and if possible, service what other people sell. I believe that you "can't sell from an empty cart" so you will always find at least 2 to 3 dozen scooters and motorcycles in stock at any time. Stop in sometime and find out what "old school" is.
